Hot Tub Removal by Apex Junk Removal

Hot Tub Removal

A hot tub is a fiberglass shell wrapped around waterlogged foam, and by the time it comes out it weighs far more than it did going in. It cannot be lifted over a fence in one piece and it will not fit through a side gate, so it gets cut apart where it sits. We bring the saws, we cut it into sections two people can carry, and we sweep the pad afterwards.

  • Hot tubs & spas
  • Swim spas
  • Tub surrounds & decking
  • Covers & cover lifters
  • Waterlogged shells
  • Pumps & heaters
  • Site raked clear
  • Concrete pad (quoted separately)

Shed, Deck & Fence Removal by Apex Junk Removal

Shed, Deck & Fence Removal

A shed has to come down in a sequence, or it comes down on somebody. Same with a deck — the railings and boards go first, the framing second, and the posts last. This is the category people most often start themselves on a Saturday and call us about on the Sunday. We bring the tools, take it down in order, and rake the ground so nobody stands on a nail.

  • Wood, vinyl & metal sheds
  • Decks & railings
  • Pergolas & gazebos
  • Fencing & posts
  • Lattice & trellis
  • Landscape timber & sleepers
  • Concrete footings (quoted separately)
  • Ground raked clear of nails & screws

Above-Ground Pools & Play Sets by Apex Junk Removal

Above-Ground Pools & Play Sets

The kids outgrew it four years ago and it has been quietly killing the grass ever since. Above-ground pools have to be drained and the liner cut out before the wall comes down; play sets come apart at the fixings where they will and get cut where they will not. Either way the anchors come out of the ground rather than getting snapped off at soil level.

  • Above-ground pools
  • Pool liners & filters
  • Pool decking & steps
  • Swing sets & climbing frames
  • Playhouses & tree houses
  • Trampolines
  • Basketball hoops
  • Sandboxes
  • Ground anchors removed
  • Site raked clear

How it works

How a pickup actually goes

Four steps, and no surprise in the middle of any of them.

  1. Tell us what you have

Call, text a photo, or fill in the form. A photo of the pile is worth ten minutes of describing it, and it is usually enough for us to get you within range on the phone.

  2. We look at it in person

We turn up at the agreed window, look at the actual volume and the actual access, and give you one price for the whole job. That happens before anything is loaded, and it is free whether you go ahead or not.

  3. You say yes, we load

If the price works, we start there and then in most cases. You do not lift anything and nothing needs to be at the curb — we carry it from wherever it is sitting.

  4. We sweep up and sort it out

The space gets swept before we leave. Then the load gets separated at our end: donation, metal recycling, e-waste, and only what is genuinely left over goes to the transfer station.

The rest of what we do

Not sure which one you need?

Describe the pile and we will tell you which service it falls under — or that you do not need us at all.
